SwitchCore Appoints Nitish Amin as Vice President of Business Development and Sales

SwitchCore Corporation, a developer of wire-speed switches and routers, including the industry's highest density single-chip Gigabit Ethernet solution, today announced the appointment of Nitish Amin to the position of Vice President of Sales and Business Development for SwitchCore.

Mr. Amin's responsibilities will expand as he continues to focus his sales force on established companies as well as cutting edge startups that need Gigabit switching solutions, and enabling these companies to shorten their time-to-market. In addition, he will enhance existing core alliance partnership relationships and expand the program to include a wider range of companies and customer applications.
Mr. Amin earned a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Sardar Patel University of India, and a M.S. in Electrical Engineering from the Florida Institute of Technology.
SwitchCore Corporation, a subsidiary of Switchcore AB (publ), designs, develops, and markets integrated switching devices for selling to network equipment manufacturers and suppliers, worldwide. SwitchCore's CXE technology, where full-custom design methodology and high-speed CMOS are used, significantly increases the performance of switches and routers.
The first product family was launched on the market in April 2000. The flagship product, the CXE-16 an integrated switching device, can switch up to 24 million packets per second. SwitchCore currently employs 80 people with offices in Lund, Stockholm, Gothenburg and San Jose, California. SwitchCore's stock is quoted on the OM Stockholm Exchange's O-list under the SCOR symbol.
