Move Over "Car Talk," Motor Trend Launches Nationally Syndicated Radio Programs; Motor Trend Radio Magazine and Motor Trend Weekend presented by Meguiar's

Adding to the multi-media world of Motor Trend, two nationally syndicated Motor Trend weekend radio programs will be launched in November, it was announced by Paul Sisia, Vice President of Marketing for Motor Trend at SEMA, the Specialty Equipment Market Association show.
The two 2-hour weekend programs, Motor Trend Radio Magazine and Motor Trend Weekend, syndicated by Talk Radio Network, will debut in more than 100 markets. Alan Taylor, the newly named host will conduct on-site interviews at the SEMA show (10/31-11/3) for air in November.
"These nationally syndicated radio shows will round out our broad array of Motor Trend's exciting brand extensions. The authority of our editors' voices already transcends beyond the magazine into television, the Internet, at the 18 International Auto Shows, within the membership clubs, Motor Trend en Espanol and our Car, Truck and Sport/Utility of the Year awards," said Mr. Sisia.
Airing on weekends, Motor Trend Radio Magazine on Saturday, and Motor Trend Weekend on Sunday, the shows will be in the 8 a.m. - 10-a.m. time slot on both the East and West Coast:
--Motor Trend Radio magazine will feature lively interviews
with Motor Trend's editors, mechanics' advice, tips on buying
and selling cars (from the showroom or the Internet),
on-location broadcasts at the major international auto shows,
listener call-in, informative road test reviews, interviews
with industry leaders and celebrity drivers, and much more.
--Motor Trend Weekend will be live from remote locations and
automotive events, and reflect the leisure pursuits
associated with automobiles. Like Motor Trend magazine
itself, MT Radio will be informative, provocative and
entertaining - and, be the leading authority on automotive
information on the air.
Both shows are presented by Meguiar's, the nation's leading surface care manufacturer celebrating its 100th anniversary.
