David Edwab Joins Bear Stearns to Lead Retail Investment Banking

Bear, Stearns & Co. Inc. announced today that David Edwab, the newly elected vice chairman of The Men's Wearhouse Inc., has joined Bear Stearns as a senior managing director to lead its retail investment banking practice.
Commenting on the appointment, David Glaser and Jeffrey Urwin, co-heads of investment banking said, "This is a important appointment for us. Mr. Edwab joins the firm after nearly a decade at Men's Wearhouse, where he was until recently the company's president and where he will continue as vice chairman. Prior to that, Mr. Edwab, a certified public accountant, was head of the southwestern corporate finance and retail practice at Deloitte & Touche. He holds a bachelor's degree from Fairleigh-Dickinson University.
