Pioneer's New DVD-R/RW Devices Supported By Sonic's Award-winning
DVDit!(TM) and MyDVD(TM) Software
Sonic Solutions (NASDAQ:SNIC) announced at this week's COMDEX show that it has integrated support for Pioneer's new DVD recording devices into Sonic's award-winning DVDit! and MyDVD authoring applications. Expected to ship in early 2001, Pioneer's new DVD-R/RW recorders will enable consumers and multimedia professionals to record both DVD-compatible DVD-R and DVD-RW media as well as CD-compatible CD-R and CD-RW media on a single drive. Sonic's MyDVD and DVDit! software make it possible for consumers to publish their favorite videos, Internet video clips and corporate presentations on DVD-RW discs which can be played on multimedia PCs and DVD set-top players everywhere.
