Wireless Online Adds Motorola Executive to Senior Management Team; Robin Salem Joins as Vice President of Business Development

Wireless Online, a global wireless Internet infrastructure company, today announced the appointment of Robin Salem as vice president of business development.
Salem brings extensive international business development, M&A and operating experience in the high tech industry to Wireless Online. He will be responsible for leading the company's corporate development efforts and forging strategic relationships with key global players in the wireless communications industry.
Salem joins Wireless Online from Motorola, where he served as vice president of Motorola International Network Ventures, Inc. and directed global strategy and business development initiatives of this $4.5 billion wireless service business. During his tenure, Salem managed major projects on investment, business/license acquisition, portfolio management and strategy in cellular GSM/CDMA, wireless broadband, mobile Internet and LMDS/MMDS space. Additionally, Salem led the execution of a major IPO project and orchestrated support from leading Wall Street investment banks.
Salem's previous experience includes the position of general manager, corporate strategy of Maxis Communications, a full service telecommunications business, joint ventured by US West in Malaysia. Salem also served as a general manager of the Australian Telecommunications Authority.
