Learning Tree to Release Hands-on Course: Microsoft Commerce Server 2000 and BizTalk

Learning Tree International, Inc. (NASDAQ:LTRE) today announced its plans to release Microsoft Commerce Server 2000 and BizTalk, a new hands-on course that teaches participants how to create fully integrated business-to-business and business-to-consumer solutions. This four-day course provides extensive hands-on experience customizing order processing using pipelines, enhancing site presentation using Visual InterDev, defining business documents using BizTalk Editor and BizTalk Mapper, and utilizing Commerce Server objects.
"In order to maintain a competitive edge in the new electronic economy, organizations today must ensure that all aspects of their business processes are integrated with the Internet," said John Moriarty, V.P. of Product Development for Reston, VA-based Learning Tree. "Microsoft designed Commerce Server to provide the functionality to reach consumers through the Web, while BizTalk Server provides the technology and flexibility to integrate with trading partners. In this new course, each participant gains practical experience creating and customizing fully integrated business-to-business and business-to-consumer e-commerce sites," he continued.
Upon release, Microsoft Commerce Server 2000 and BizTalk will join Learning Tree's existing Windows Development and E-Commerce Curricula, which include Building an E-Commerce Web Site, Building XML Applications, Enterprise Web Development with ASP and Visual Basic Web Development.
Learning Tree International plans to present Microsoft Commerce Server 2000 and BizTalk nationwide at its education centers beginning in January. The initial course schedule is:
