CCG Teams with Cable & Wireless a-Services for ASP Services

Atlanta-based CCG and Cable & Wireless a-Services of Houston jointly announced an agreement this morning through which CCG takes on a roll as Full Solution Provider.

Under this agreement, CCG brings the full power and capabilities of the a-Services offerings to its already strong list of technology solutions.

Cable & Wireless a-Services was formed through a strategic Alliance with Compaq in November 1999 with a joint investment of $500m. Microsoft further strengthened the Alliance when it joined in June 2000. The company - 100% owned by Cable & Wireless - unifies the global infrastructure and IP networking strengths of C&W, with the global services and technology strengths of Compaq, and the application software of Microsoft.
