East Tennessee State University (ETSU) Physicians and Associates have signed an agreement with ADP Context for Claims Editor Professional(TM), a real-time, clinical claims editing application designed to assist in regulatory compliance for Medicare Part B, Medicaid, workers' compensation and other third party claims.

Claims Editor Professional (TM) will be utilized by the entire staff of full-time physicians at the academic medical center located in Johnson City, Tennessee.

According to Russell Lewis, Executive Director, "ADP's solid reputation as a leading software and service provider was illustrated when we evaluated the accuracy of their product's national and local Medicare rules. We were re-filing one out of every four claims due to coding errors and look to Claims Editor Professional (TM) to help identify issues ahead of time and avoid these costly resubmissions. It is critical to the success of East Tennessee State University's claims editing project to review claims at the point of entry and not 'scrub' them via a batch mode after the claims are entered into our practice management system."

"ADP Context is pleased to have been selected as the compliance solution for East Tennessee State University's claims editing initiatives." stated Mark Earles, General Manager at ADP Context, Earles also noted that "the integration of Claims Editor Professional (TM) into their daily operations, should dramatically reduce their Accounts Receivable aging and help facilitate the elimination of resubmissions due to third party denials.
