LOWELL, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 28, 2000
Datawatch Corporation (NASDAQ:DWHC), a leading provider of enterprise reporting solutions, data transformation tools and support center software, has been named as one of the top business intelligence vendors in the annual reader's survey conducted by DM Review. The 2000 DM Review 100 Awards were determined by readers who were asked to rate vendors of business intelligence (including e-business, customer relationship management and data warehousing) products used in their organizations.
"We are delighted to have been selected by the readers of DM Review for excellence in providing business intelligence products," said John Kitchen, vice president of marketing at Datawatch. "Datawatch recognizes that information is too important a commodity to limit to just a few power users. The full power of information is realized only when it is made easily available throughout an internal organization and made easily accessible to customers, partners and suppliers."
The DM Review 100 awards were based on the results of a product and vendor usage rating survey conducted over the Web. Survey respondents were presented an extensive list of 453 products to rate in eight product categories: hardware (servers) products; storage products; data quality, acquisition and integration products; databases and data stores; business intelligence products; DW administration, design, management and performance products; business solutions and analytic applications; and CRM solutions.
