PHOENIX--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 6, 2000
Informative Graphics Corp., a leading provider of Web-based view, mark-up and collaboration for drawings, documents and images, Monday announced a new agreement with CGN eServices to offer its Brava! and Net-It Central applications as part of CGN eServices recommended applications for the e-business market.
In addition CGN eServices will be offering its Internet Powered Solutions for Business(SM) to customers of Informative Graphics Corp.
CGN is a leading provider of solutions for application service providers and other technologically progressive businesses. CGN eServices provides system integration services that will allow customers to tightly integrate disparate technologies with their business processes and existing technology infrastructure.
By endorsing Informative Graphics'(R) viewing and annotation tools, CGN has added a key toolset to extend the reach of its solutions.
Through the deployment of Brava! and Net-It Central, CGN eServices customers will be able to view documents and drawings using any standard Web browser. Brava! permits design or documentation changes to be associated and managed over the Web. In addition, metadata information is retrievable to build customized watermarks and banners for document status information.
Since Brava! does not transfer the actual file to the client for display, the combined solution creates a secure solution for robust collaboration activity over the Web.
"Given CGN eServices' wide area of expertise in the AEC and online collaboration markets, we are very proud of this agreement," said Gary Heath, Informative Graphics chief executive officer and president.
"Their endorsement of Brava!, based on the product's features and functionality, validates the approach we started on in developing the first multi-format Java-based view and markup application for the Web, and further expands its status as the de facto Web viewing standard, particularly for the AEC market and other ASPs."
John M. Damgaard, vice president of CGN eServices said, "CGN eServices has emerged as a leader providing Internet Powered Solutions to the AEC industry. Our alliance with Informative Graphics brings to our current and future AEC customers a key piece of market-leading technology that is essential in this document-centric and collaboration-intensive industry."
