Unisys, Prescient Consulting in Strategic Alliance to Provide SAP Solutions on Unisys e-@ction Enterprise Servers

Collaboration extends reach of Unisys and mySAP.com solutions
on Windows platforms
Unisys Corporation and Atlanta-based Prescient Consulting LLC -- a specialist in inter-enterprise solutions based on SAP software -- will work together in a marketing partnership to help businesses implement customized SAP solutions on Microsoft Windows and Unisys platforms, the two companies announced today.
Under the terms of the agreement, Unisys and Prescient will work together to offer new and existing SAP customers complete solutions, including those based on mySAP.com, the next generation suite of SAP applications for e-business.
The two companies will streamline the implementation processes by ensuring that the SAP applications and Unisys technology best fit customers' specific business needs. The products and services provided jointly by Unisys and Prescient will include Unisys servers optimized for SAP solutions, Unisys hardware implementation services and a full suite of integration services from Prescient targeted at SAP solutions.
Prescient Consulting is a leading high-tech consulting and systems integration firm that specializes in SAP inter-enterprise business solutions. Unisys e-@ction Optimized Servers for SAP solutions are 8-, 16- and 32-way ES7000 servers based on the industry-leading Cellular MultiProcessing server architecture, as well as Unisys four- and eight-way ES5000 series servers. These servers combine the cost advantages of Microsoft and Intel technology with the flexibility, performance and resilience once available only on large UNIX-based servers and proprietary mainframes.
