WHAT: The 49th annual UCLA Anderson Business Forecast Conference
will explore the impact of the Internet on the economic future
of the U.S., California and Los Angeles. In addition to
providing the customary long-term economic outlook for the
nation and for California, the conference will also try to
capture the social, cultural economic changes wrought by the
Internet through a series of panels led by the nation's most
influential authorities. UCLA computer science professor
Leonard Kleinrock and Jeffrey Cole, director of the UCLA
Center for Communication Policy, are speakers.
