Hispanic Broadcasting Corporation Announces the Appointment of Richard Heftel as V.P. of Music Industry Relations of Hispanic Broadcasting Corporation

Hispanic Broadcasting Corporation, (NYSE:HSP) announced that Richard Heftel has been named V.P. of Music Industry Relations for Hispanic Broadcasting Corporation serving all HBC markets.

Mr. Heftel will report directly to David Lykes, Chief Operating Officer. Mr. Heftel will be responsible for being the liaison between HBC, and recording artists, agents, record labels and recording companies. In addition to this he is in charge of syndicating "The Renan Show."

Prior to this position, Mr. Heftel served as President and General Manger of HBC subsidiary KTNQ-AM, KLVE-FM, and KSCA-FM Inc. in Los Angeles from 1994 to 2000 overseeing the operations of KTNQ-AM, KLVE-FM and KSCA-FM. Prior to HBC, he served in a variety of sales and management positions for KSSK-AM/FM in Honolulu, Hawaii.

Mr. Heftel received his Bachelor of Arts in Business from Brigham Young University in Utah.
