NEWPORT BEACH, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 9, 2000
SeeBeyond (Nasdaq: SBYN), the leading global provider of eBusiness Integration solutions, today announced the inaugural meetings of its customer executive and product advisory boards in Newport Beach, Calif. November 8 - 10, 2000. Board members from leading Global 2000 companies convened following the sixth annual SeeBeyond C2C User Conference 2000, held November 5 - 8.
Comprised of senior-level executives selected from among SeeBeyond's multi-industry customer base, the advisory boards' members will provide valuable insight to SeeBeyond in its efforts to continue to meet the evolving eBusiness integration needs of its customers. A few of the companies represented on the Executive Advisory Board include Amdahl, Barnes & Noble.com and Fluor Signature Services. The Product Advisory Board includes corporate leaders from companies such as Ericsson, Florida Power & Light, Hewlett Packard and PETsMART.
"As our new name reflects our strategic role in helping customers see beyond their corporate and geographic boundaries, our technology must continue to stay a step ahead of the competition and the business needs of tomorrow," said Jim Demetriades, founder, chairman and CEO for SeeBeyond. "We feel the best way to do this is to build stronger relationships with our customers to gain additional insight into their evolving business needs. Today's launch of our product and executive advisory boards not only gives us the opportunity to more clearly understand our customers' needs, but allows us to enhance our continued commitment to delivering world-class eBusiness integration solutions."
The advisory board meetings follow on the heels of the extremely successful annual SeeBeyond C2C User Conference 2000, which presented customers with the opportunity to share ideas and best practices with other SeeBeyond customers and partners. With attendees from around the world, representing a broad range of industries, the conference addressed a variety of topics including how companies can fully leverage the full SeeBeyond product suite to help master eBusiness integration. In addition to a welcome from Demetriades, keynotes were provided by Dr. Keri E. Pearlson, co-author of "ZeroTime: Providing Instant Customer Value - Every Time, All the Time", and Kimberly Knickle, AMR Research analyst. The conference offered a number of breakout sessions focused on specific industries, products, customer best practices and current eBusiness trends.
