ATLANTA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 9, 2000

adam.com, Inc. (NASDAQ: ADAM), a leading originator and integrator of health information, today announced a new alliance with Brooks/Cole, a leading science textbook publisher for higher education. Under the agreement, Brooks/Cole will link adam online anatomy (AOA) to biology and anatomy & physiology texts, helping educators reinforce learning with state-of-the-art, interactive content.

In addition, Brooks/Cole will place AOA demos on selected web sites, as well as distribute adam.com's award-winning CD-ROM titles.

"We're confident adam online anatomy will deliver added value to Brooks/Cole's popular biology publications," said Richard Hinrichs, adam.com's Director of eLearning. "Students in health sciences and pre-med programs everywhere will benefit from content that is AOA-energized."

Brooks/Cole will offer professors and their students 24/7 online access to web-enabled AOA content. That means, in both traditional classroom and distance learning settings, educators can supplement instruction with AOA's lifelike, fully dissectible content.
