Intellocity Selected by J. Walter Thompson to Develop ITV Site for Ford

Intellocity, USA Inc., a leading provider of design, development and integration services to the interactive and enhanced television market, today announced that it has been contracted by J. Walter Thompson to develop an interactive television site for JWT's client, Ford Motor Company.
The site will initially be developed for the Motorola DCT2000 platform and will be engineered for easy adaptation onto other iTV platforms.

The Ford site, an extension of Ford's fordoutfitters.com website, will provide a convenient location for consumers to register for a variety of Ford promotions and sweepstakes. Intellocity will design and build the client-side application and user navigation template, which will allow Ford to implement a series of promotions involving the Ford Escape and will enable Ford to revise the site for future contests. Intellocity will also build an application to export viewer entries from the iTV site to the http://www.fordoutfitter.com contest database.
Interactive television viewers will be able to access the Ford site via on-screen banner ads and promotional placards.
