Packeteer Announces Product Development and Sales Agreement With Comdisco to Deliver Application Performance Management

Packeteer Distribution Network and Comdisco Network Services Expanded
Packeteer(R), Inc. (Nasdaq:PKTR), a leading provider of Internet application infrastructure systems, and Comdisco (NYSE:CDO), a global technology services company, today announced an agreement that will improve delivery of mission critical applications across wide area networks (WANs) worldwide.
Under the terms of the agreement, Comdisco will integrate Packeteer's PacketShaper(R) product line into its new Lifecycle Policy Management Solutions, which help companies prioritize applications and maximize bandwidth on their networks. Adding PacketShaper's advanced classification, analysis, control, and reporting capabilities will give Comdisco customers more detailed information on bandwidth use, and application performance, and allow them to set traffic policies that are better aligned with their corporate priorities.
