Timothy Vastine Appointed Engine Program Director for Airliance Materials

AirLiance Materials appoints Timothy Vastine as Engine Program Director, according to an announcement by Jean Simmons, Director of Programs. Vastine reports directly to Simmons and is responsible for managing technical aspects of the company's engine materials, as well as providing leadership to the Engine Matrix Teams. The company supports most commonly used standard and widebody engines including: General Electric's CF6, CF34, CFMI CFM56, and Pratt & Whitney's JT3, JT8, JT9, PW100, PW2000, PW4000 and IAEV2500.

Prior to joining AirLiance, Vastine held various positions at Pratt & Whitney including program management and was responsible for maintaining high customer satisfaction, streamlining operations, and contract management.

In addition, Vastine's previous positions were with American Airlines Inc. as a power plant engineer and the Boeing Co. as an engineer, creating and publishing power plant documentation.
