SEATTLE & VANCOUVER, B.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 19, 2000
Milinx Business Group, Inc. (OTCBB:MIXBA) today announced its Gold level membership in the Network Solutions Premier Domain Name Registration Services Program.
Through the Premier program, Milinx has selected Network Solutions, Inc., (NSI), the world's leading provider of Internet registration services with more than 12 million domain names registered, for its domain name registration services. The Premier program arrangement also establishes a foundation for strategic cross-promotions between the two companies.
Under the agreement, Milinx will offer its customers Network Solutions' domain name registration services, enabling businesses and consumers with varying levels of technical expertise to easily register domain names. In addition, Milinx and NSI will cross-promote through reciprocal links on each other's Web sites.
"I am delighted to work with a company synonymous with Internet growth and success," said Milinx President and CEO Maynard L. Dokken. "This alliance further validates the Milinx objective to have 5,000 resellers and their associated agents approaching small-to-medium-size businesses. Our new domain registrations will be brought to Network Solutions while NSI brings the Milinx message to millions of people visiting its site."
Milinx hosts software solutions at its wholly owned Application Data Center and delivers them to businesses over the Internet on a subscription basis. Milinx is a cost-effective alternative to software in a box. Visit our Web site at www.milinx.com.
Established in 1997, NSI's widely successful Premier Program provides member companies with account management, technical and operational support and other important benefits, including referral fees, advertising and marketing opportunities. In order to qualify, prospective members must reach and maintain a predetermined volume of monthly registrations. > Forward-looking statements within the meaning of the Securities Act of 1933 and the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 include numbers of resellers, referral fees, advertising and marketing opportunities and maintaining monthly registration volume. Important factors could cause results to differ materially. These include without limitation the possibility of insufficient market acceptance of Milinx products including reselling, monthly registration volume insufficient to qualify Milinx for the NSI Premier Program benefits, and other important risk factors detailed in the recent Milinx Form 10-K filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission. Most Recent Business Articles
