FeedRoom Launches News Site for Leading Columbus NBC Affiliate; WCMH Viewers Able to Access Hours of Packaged and Unedited News and Information in a Rich Visual Format at wcmh4.com

COLUMBUS, Ohio--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 30, 2000

The FeedRoom, the leading broadband news service offering personalized television-style news reports on the Internet, announced today that it has launched a local FeedRoom for the Columbus NBC affiliate, NBC 4, WCMH-TV.

The FeedRoom will be creating broadband stations for all of NBC's affiliate stations nationwide. In Columbus, current plans feature a narrowband launch; broadband will be added at a later date.

The site, which can be accessed through www.wcmh4.com and www.feedroom.com, will allow users to view current and archived news video, as well as weather, sports, business, entertainment and other video and text programming produced and featuring NBC 4 anchors and reporters. NBC 4 will also use its local FeedRoom site to compliment broadcast material and break timely news occurrences as they happen. Another aspect of the site will be its many interactive features, including as customizable news reports, chat rooms, video email capabilities and searchable archives.
