Iconixx, a leading e-business solutions provider, today announced the addition of several senior employees, reflecting growth across the company. With this move, Iconixx is creating several new positions that span the country geographically and encompass diverse disciplines, from engineering and creative to sales and project management.

Joining Iconixx are Steven Mapes, Director of Sales for the Southeast region; David G. Weisser, Sales Executive in the Southeast region; James Murray, Managing Director; David K. Lehman, Director of Engineering; Zolton Stiffel, Creative Director for the Western region; Oliver Chan, Creative Director; and Brett S. Zucker, Engagement Director.

Mr. Deyhimi noted that the firm intends to leverage its success with several key clients in the Southeast region by adding to its regional sales force. "We have a tremendous market opportunity in the Southeast region, which we intend to pursue very aggressively," he stated. As Director of Sales for the Southeast region, Mr. Mapes is responsible for growing the sales team and developing a regional business strategy. Mr. Weisser will work with Mr. Mapes to increase market share within the Southeast region.
Prior to joining Iconixx, Mr. Mapes was the Director of eBusiness Sales with BellSouth's Large Business Services division and an emerging technologies sales manager. He has held senior positions at VolTech Data Consultants, Genicom Corporation and PRC, a major government and commercial systems integrator. Mr. Mapes has a BA in Communications from the University of Alabama and technical training and certificates from Nortel Networks, Cisco Systems and Novell.
Prior to joining Iconixx, Mr. Weisser served as General Manager and Vice President of Sales and Business Development for Planet Webcom.com, Inc., an e-commerce solutions company. A one-time securities trader and owner of a real estate law firm, Mr. Weisser has a BS degree from the University of Rhode Island and JD degree from the University of Miami School of Law.
In the Western region, Mr. Murray joins Iconixx as Managing Director in the Denver office, responsible for growing the Denver office and managing all business functions including delivery and client support. Prior to joining Iconixx, Mr. Murray served as a Practice Manager at Akili Systems Group; the Director of Global Sales and Marketing for Process Industries at MCI Systemhouse; and Manager of Consulting Services at Digital Equipment Corp. He has a MS in Administration from California State University.
Additional hires bolster the firm's technical and creative capabilities.
Mr. Lehman, Director of Engineering, is responsible for leading the engineering department in the development of B2B and B2C client sites utilizing current development processes and technologies. Prior positions include Program Manager at AOLTV programs and Vice President of Engineering at iXL. A commander in Naval Reserve, he has a BS degree in Marine Engineering from the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy and a MS degree in Computer Science from the New York Institute of Technology.
Mr. Stiffel joins Iconixx as Creative Director for the Western region. He is the founder of Halo Interactive, a Houston-based web design and consulting firm specializing in interactive Flash-powered sites and online branding. A recent member of the board of directors of the Art Directors Club of Houston, Mr. Stiffel has a degree in advertising design and illustration from the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City.
As Creative Director in the Los Angeles office, Mr. Chan is responsible for leading the creative efforts in that market. Formerly a Creative Director at both Viant Corp. and Rare Medium, Mr. Chan has a BA degree in Design from the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA).
Mr. Zucker joins Iconixx as an Engagement Director in the New York office, responsible for strategy development and project management. Formerly a Senior Producer at AppNet and a Producer at Agency.com, Mr. Zucker has a BS degree in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University and a MS in Business Administration from Harvard Business School.
