IT Radio Network Now Featuring Interviews With the CEOs of Blue Martini and Inforte
Business Wire, Oct 4, 2000
Business/High-Tech Editors
LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 4, 2000
IT Radio Network, "The Voice of eBusiness", is now featuring in-depth interviews with Monte Zweben, CEO of Blue Martini Software (Nasdaq:BLUE) and Phillip Bligh, CEO of Inforte Corporation (Nasdaq:INFT).
During the interview with Monte Zweben, he discussed where he came up with the name, the company's solution and managing NASA's Artificial Intelligence Lab.
In the interview, Zweben discussed how Blue Martini is helping their customers. "What they can do is have a presence on a trading exchange, have their customers come to the exchange and be able to click on a reference that takes them out of the trading exchange for a moment," said Zweben. "We allow them to use the full range of capabilities for interacting with the customer, but then come back to the trading exchange for the actual transaction."
During the interview with Phillip Bligh, he discussed eCommerce consulting, eBusiness integration, what separates them from the competition, his past at Andersen Consulting and the biggest challenges facing today's CEOs.
In the interview, Bligh discussed what it means to be an eBusiness integration provider. "We integrate eBusiness throughout their value chains into their customer relationship management processes, their supply chain management processes, their procurement processes -- and link all of those things with their suppliers and trading partners," said Bligh. "eBusiness integration makes the Internet and online channels work in an integrated fashion across all of the company's chains."
