NetScaler Secures $35 Million Investment From Top-Tier Investors; Goldman Sachs Leads Group of Investors Including Bay Partners and Mellon Ventures

NetScaler, the leading provider of Internet infrastructure solutions that enable Quality of eXperience (QoX), announced today that it has secured a $35 million investment round led by Goldman, Sachs & Co. Bay Partners and Mellon Ventures along with existing investors Gabriel Venture Partners and Credit Suisse First Boston also participated in the investment. Ankur Sahu of Goldman Sachs' Principal Investment Area will join NetScaler's board of directors.
NetScaler will use the investment to further develop and pioneer new generations of Internet infrastructure devices and applications based on its patent-pending Web Transaction Management (WTM) architecture.
NetScaler's WTM architecture is the base platform for Internet devices, such as NetScaler's WebScaler Internet accelerator, that advance Internet Quality of eXperience by accelerating end-user response time and protecting Web transactions from traffic surges and distributed denial-of-service attacks.
