Robert G. Weinstein Joins Homebid.com as Senior Vice President of Business Development

Homebid.com, the first company to offer online real estate transactions, has hired an experienced senior executive, Robert G. Weinstein, who will serve as Senior Vice President of Business Development.
Mr. Weinstein will play a key role in the development and execution of the company's business strategy. He will also focus on building distribution, content, and technology alliances and partnerships, while assisting to grow Homebid's customer and revenue base.
Prior to joining the company, Mr. Weinstein worked as Senior Vice President of Business Development and Sales for quepasa.com, a publicly traded internet portal, helping it achieve number one status in US-based market share among latino focused information portals. During his tenure with quepasa.com, Mr. Weinstein was instrumental in launching key relationships with over 30 leading internet and technology companies, including Netzero, Net2phone, and Gateway Computer. In addition Mr. Weinstein led the aquisition and integration efforts for both etrato.com (an online bilingual auction) and RealEstateEspanol.com (a bilingual consumer real estate portal).
Prior to joining quepasa.com, Mr. Weinstein was the Director of National Business Development at Arthur Anderson LLP and later assumed the role of Director of World Wide Sales (KnowledgeSpace.com), which provided award-winning Internet communities for auditors, finance professionals, and telephone and healthcare companies, along with interactive tools and a "Global Best Practices" knowledge base for professionals.
Before joining Arthur Andersen LLP, Mr. Weinstein served as Vice President of Business Development at Raytheon HRB Systems Division, with over 1,000 employees. HRB is a leading systems integrator for the intelligence community. Earlier he was Vice President and General Manager at ITC Learning, a publicly traded company and a leader in technology and web enabled training.
Mr.Weinstein holds a B.A. degree in Business Administration from Gettysburg College.
