EPSON Electronics America, the world's leader in color LCD controllers, today announced the selection of the EPSON SED1375 LCD Controller as the backbone for Sony's newly announced color Clie.
The high level of integration provided by the SED1375 offers a low-cost, low-power, feature-rich color display solution for handheld markets.
"We are extremely pleased with the market acceptance of our embedded memory LCD controllers," said Roy daSilva, executive director, Integrated Circuit (IC) Business Unit, EPSON Electronics America.
