OAKDALE, Minn. & INDIANAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 13, 2000
Imation Corp. (NYSE:IMN), Color Technologies division and Aprimo, Inc., the fastest growing provider of Internet-based marketing management solutions, today announced a joint marketing agreement aimed at delivering the most comprehensive range of consulting and technology solutions for marketing organizations around the world.
Imation will recommend and integrate Aprimo(TM) Marketing - a comprehensive marketing management platform that facilitates strategic decision making and empowers integrated campaign and program management - as part of Imation Color Technologies professional services offerings. Imation provides technology consulting services to organizations in the disciplines of marketing, branding and marketing communications. Imation clients include Monsanto, Avon Products, Proctor & Gamble, and Allegiance Health Care.
"Marketing is the last corporate discipline to fully utilize systems automation, and as a result millions of dollars are being wasted in intellectual capital and resources," says Lee Stocking, director of marketing for Imation Color Technology services. "With Aprimo Marketing, marketing organizations finally can harness their knowledge base and have a complete view of all marketing activities throughout the organization."
Aprimo Marketing adds to Imation's capability to help a company's marketing, branding and marketing communications functions get to market faster, more efficiently and with greater consistency. The capability extends Imation's expertise in the graphics arts and creative areas of the marketing department, which are closely linked with corporate marketing communications via the use of Imation's industry-standard Matchprint(TM) proofing systems and Imation media asset management.
"We are pleased to be joining forces with Imation - a forward-thinking company with expertise in marketing consulting services," said Bill Godfrey, president and CEO of Aprimo. "By approaching marketing organizations as a team, Aprimo and Imation are able to provide marketers the guidance and technology necessary to deliver industry-leading campaigns that are both strategic and cost effective."
