Dr. Taher Elgamal Joins PRTI's Board of Advisors; Former Chief Scientist of Netscape

Phoenix Resources Technologies, Inc. (OTCBB:PRTI) (FSE:PHU), today announced that effective immediately, Dr. Taher Elgamal has joined the Company's Board of Advisors.

Dr. Elgamal is CEO and Chairman of Securify. Securify is the leading security services provider (SSP) for companies conducting business transactions over the Internet, private intranets, or extranets. Prior to his current position, Dr. Elgamal was the Chief Scientist at Netscape Communications Corporation (NYSE:AOL), where he pioneered Internet security technologies such as SSL, the standard for web security. Prior to Netscape, he was the Director of Engineering at RSA Data Security from where he produced the RSA cryptographic toolkits, the industry standards for developers of security enabled applications and systems.

Dr. Elgamal's expansive career in cryptography and security has resulted in numerous and substantial contributions to the security industry such as the development of a number of Internet payment schemes, participation in the "SET" credit card payment protocol, the pioneering of the original public key cryptography technology later adopted by NIST as the DSS digital signature standard.

Dr. Elgamal received his PhD from Stanford University.
