Hewlett-Packard Company (NYSE: HWP) today announced it is shipping HP Pavilion home PCs featuring Windows(R) Millennium Edition (Windows Me). HP builds, sells and supports new PC systems for customers seeking customized PC solutions.

By including Windows Me in our HP Pavilion home PC line, were ensuring that HPs customers will continue to receive the kind of quality home computing experience theyve come to expect from HP, said Rob Wait, worldwide marketing manager for HPs Home Products Division.

Windows Me is the incremental upgrade to Windows 98 and Windows 98 Second Edition, and is designed to improve the home computing experience by offering advancements in four key areas: digital media, home networking, Internet navigation and PC health.
