MontaVista Joins Intel Applied Computer Provider Program; Embedded Linux Leader Teams with Embedded Intel Architecture Division

MontaVista Software, Inc., developer of the Hard Hat Linux operating system for embedded applications, today announced participation in the Intel(R) Applied Computing Platform Provider Program (ACPP).
MontaVista will work with Intel to deliver embedded Intel Architecture-based board and system level solutions to applied computing customers.

MontaVista Software products provide a reliable Linux resource for Intel Architecture-based platforms, from wireless appliances to complete system solutions with a focus on rapid development and deployment. Participation in the ACPP program will enable MontaVista customers using Intel(R) to develop open source solutions for their applied computing applications with Hard Hat Linux solutions based on 100% pure Linux with no run-time royalties.

Program qualifiers are selected on the basis of strict criteria and only those companies who have demonstrated a significant commitment to quality and standards are approved.
