Sam Goody Heats Things Up With Exclusive Performance by Pop Superstars 98 Degrees

Group Slated to Perform and Sign Autographs at
Mall of America to Celebrate "Revelation"
Sam Goody announced today that it is will host 98 Degrees, one of the hottest pop groups on the music scene, for an exclusive performance and autograph session scheduled for September 30, at Mall of America in Bloomington, Minn. The event will celebrate the group's new album "Revelation" which hits streets on September 26.
The harmony-driven Ohio foursome is best known for its 1998 multi-platinum sophomore smash, "98 Degrees and Rising" which spawned hit singles "Because of You," "The Hardest Thing," and "I Do (Cherish You)."
Sam Goody's performance and signing event with 98 Degrees is the group's only scheduled event of its kind. It will follow their television appearances on Good Morning America, Live With Regis, Rosie O'Donnell and MTV's Total Request Live (TRL). The first 500 fans to purchase the group's new album, "Revelation," at Sam Goody's Mall of America locations on Tuesday, September 26 (release day) will be given wrist bands to get their new CD autographed by the group on Saturday.
In 1999, 98 Degrees shot up the charts to number nine on Billboard's Top 200 Albums (by duo/group) of the year just behind groups like Backstreet Boys, `N Sync and Santana. The band also soared to lofty ranks on the top 40 artists, top pop artists, hot 100 singles artists (duo/group) and the Top Billboard 200 album charts.
The group's current single, "Give Me Just One Night (Una Noche)," has climbed to number 19 on Billboard's Hot 100 Airplay chart after only six weeks.
98 Degrees is scheduled to perform at 11:00 a.m. on Mall of America's South Bridge overlooking LEGO Imagination Center followed by the autograph signing.
