Florida Digital Network Selects Equinox Suite of Software for Enhanced Fraud Protection

Orlando-based Florida Digital Network, Inc. (FDN) announced today that it has chosen a suite of software from Equinox Information Systems to bolster its telephone fraud security in all its Florida markets, which include Orlando, Miami, Jacksonville, Ft. Lauderdale, West Palm Beach, Tampa and Melbourne. The suite includes Protector Deluxe, one of the industry's most widely used fraud detection systems; ShowCDR Deluxe, a sophisticated call record search utility system; and Collector, a real-time call record collection system. The new software will be key to FDN's goal of offering small- and medium-size businesses better rates than those charged by its competitors.

Carriers can also use Protector to automatically disable billing entities that match recognized fraudulent patterns. Collector and ShowCDR Deluxe enhance Protector's capabilities by providing access to call detail information for monitoring and giving users the ability to research potential fraud in real-time.
