KIRKLAND, Wash.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 6, 2000
Saratoga International Holdings, Corp. (OTCBB:SHCC), announced today that it has reached an agreement to market and supply the long distance service for General Media's virtual pre-paid long distance calling card.
General media publishes PENTHOUSE magazine world wide.
The Penthouse Web site, where the Penthouse virtual prepaid calling will be featured is one of the more active sites on the web. Tom Morsey president of Saratoga Telecom, SHCC's operating subsidiary that will service this contract said "with the natural and sustained interest the Penthouse site generates every week, we look to increase our revenue base several times over our present sales level." Mr. Morsey went on to say that "with Penthouse being published in over 16 countries worldwide, its virtual long distance prepaid card will receive excellent offshore exposure to qualified buyers. We are being afforded an opportunity to sell our competitively priced service in a captive environment. This should be successful for Saratoga."
Saratoga continues to negotiate on several fronts that are each designed to enhance the company's performance and build its revenue and asset base. More information will be published as it becomes available.
