UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif.--(ENTERTAINMENT WIRE)--Sept. 6, 2000

Sounddogs.com Inc., the Internet's first and largest online sound effects and royalty-free music library, has entered into a promotional marketing deal with the Microsoft Site Developer Network.

Sound Dogs has provided hundreds of free sound effects to MSDN (http://msdn.microsoft.com/downloads/) in exchange for accompanying logo placement.

"We posted a selection of interesting and fun sounds that range from a great SciFi collection to button clicks for Web sites," said Rob Nokes, managing partner of Sounddogs.com. "Based on our statistics, Windows Media-based software applications are increasing their market share, and through MSDN we want to reach part of this rapidly emerging customer demographic."

Microsoft (Nasdaq:MSFT) and Sound Dogs' relationship dates back to 1998 with the Site Builder Network, which has since been merged into MSDN, a site that reaches more than 2 million developers worldwide. Microsoft has also published several extensive case studies on Sound Dogs' successful implementation of Microsoft technologies.
