The IBM AS/400 is the world's most popular multi-user business computer. Its advanced system design, which tightly integrates hardware, software, middleware and operating systems, provides a combination of power and flexibility to the business enterprise. Net400's NetMail*400 software, designed for the AS/400, delivers e-mail functions to the green screen user that PC users are accustomed to having with PC or LAN based e-mail systems. Mail.com's IP Fax services, which can be transparently integrated with the NetMail*400 solution, will operate on any IT platform, including Unix, NT and Linux. Its robust features allow users to send and receive faxes from their e-mailboxes with virtually any kind of file attachment (Word, RTF, PDF, TIFF, Corel, VISIO, etc.) without any added hardware or software on the client's side.
"AS/400 users are interested in speed, agility and reliability, not building and maintaining expensive fax-server farms," said Wilton Rooks, President of Net400 solutions. "That's why we're confident our customers will welcome Mail.com's IP Fax solutions, services which can cut costs, streamline messaging communications, and deliver the performance that they demand."
