SCOTTSDALE, Ariz.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 7, 2000

The Coriolis Group, LLC, a leading IT industry publisher and e-learning company, is expanding its Internet-based learning systems with the introduction of innovative e-learning courses on its ExamCram.com Web site.

"We are very excited to expand and enrich Coriolis' e-learning direction," said Keith Weiskamp, Coriolis chief executive officer. "Online education is a hot trend on the rise, yet still very much in its infancy and depth of content is often lacking.

"We focus on bringing the established strength of our unique ExamCram training approach from the physical world, together with the interaction and convenience of the virtual world to deliver a richer, fuller learning environment that is more comprehensive than anything else available in the certification market."

Coriolis is strategically rolling out its first phase of e-learning courses covering the Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) Windows NT core four and elective exams, in order to satisfy urgent market demand from thousands of tech professionals who are scrambling to pass the Windows NT-based tests in time to beat the exams' Dec. 31 expiration date and become eligible to take Microsoft's free, one-shot-only Accelerated exam for upgrading MCSE certification to Windows 2000.

Cisco and CompTIA topics also will be available this month.

In January 2001, anyone who has not previously obtained MCSE certification for Windows NT, and all MCSEs who subsequently fail the Accelerated exam, will be required to pass a new and increasingly difficult set of Windows 2000 core four exams. Coriolis will introduce Windows 2000 courses and numerous other topics by the end of the year.

The company began its move toward e-learning expansion with the recent launch of ExamCram.com this past May. Coriolis' e-learning system includes comprehensive lessons and interactive features, integrated practice tests, and community interaction with question and answer sessions between mentors and peers.

The ExamCram.com site has rapidly been gaining recognition among IT professionals as the ultimate e-learning destination.

Coriolis' ExamCram.com e-learning courses to be launched in September include:

-- MCSE Networking Essentials Exam Cram Adaptive, Exam No. 70-058

-- MCSE NT Workstation 4 Exam Cram Adaptive, Exam No. 70-063

-- MCSE NT Server 4 Exam Cram Adaptive, Exam No. 70-067

-- MCSE NT Server 4 in the Enterprise Exam Cram Adaptive, Exam No. 70-068

-- MCSE TCP/IP Exam Cram Adaptive, Exam No. 70-059

-- CCNA Routing and Switching, Exam No. 640-507
