IBM and BroadVision Announce Global Agreement for e-Business Solutions on UNIX Servers

IBM (NYSE:IBM) and BroadVision(R), Inc. (Nasdaq:BVSN) today announced an agreement that will enable IBM to integrate BroadVision's full suite of One-To-One applications on its performance-leading RS/6000 servers with copper technology. The agreement provides customers with more choices for building and deploying their e-business Web sites, as well as increasing network performance and availability. In addition, IBM Global Services will create a practice of service professionals around the world to help customers implement BroadVision applications.

Products to be ported to IBM's AIX operating system include BroadVision's One-To-One Enterprise eCRM platform and One-To-One suite of e-business applications. The companies will jointly integrate the Broad Vision application suite with IBM's DB2 data management software. In addition, BroadVision and IBM will work to integrate the solutions with IBM WebSphere for Enterprise Java Beans integration with back end systems.

IBM will demonstrate the combined e-business solutions to customers at IBM e-business Innovation Centers around the world. BroadVision has also signed IBM Global Services, the world's largest information technology services provider, as its top-tier systems integration partner to extend the reach of this solution set worldwide.

Under the terms of the agreement, IBM will provide technical assistance, development resources, hardware and software to the BroadVision to assist in porting.
