IDG And InfoPro Launch the Industry Standard in Taiwan; Publication and Companion Web Site Chronicle Taiwan's Growing Internet Economy

International Data Group (IDG), the world's leading IT media and information services company, and its Taiwan publishing partner, InfoPro Group, Inc. (8002), today announced the launch of New Economy, the Taiwanese edition of The Industry Standard. A weekly publication, New Economy has an initial circulation of 22,000 copies. The companion web site www.neweconomy.com.tw features a selection of local technology news, interviews with top Internet business executives, and new product launches.
The launch of New Economy brings the total number of IDG titles published by InfoPro (www.idg.com.tw) in Taiwan to five, including Computerworld/Infoworld Taiwan and PC World Taiwan.
