AUSTIN, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 17, 2001
QuickArrow Inc. announced today that it has become the first Application Service Developer under Microsoft Great Plains' ASP program.
Microsoft Great Plains approves ASPs who offer customers dependable access to applications that are connected to its products, giving mutual customers a convenient portal to a wider array of ASP solutions. QuickArrow develops and provides a Web-native professional services automation software product, Enterprise Consulting Suite (ECS), for professional services firms.
"Microsoft Great Plains is anxious to work with vertically focused ASPs who provide effective, proven solutions. ECS is a powerful Web-native service automation application that works well as a hosted solution, and is exactly the kind of application that can be of great value to our professional services automation customers," said Jim Traynor, director of ASP business development at Microsoft Great Plains.
QuickArrow and Microsoft Great Plains have a number of shared customers who are using ECS to automate numerous front office and professional services activities. "Both QuickArrow and Microsoft Great Plains provide applications that have a tremendous impact on our daily business processes, and both companies develop solutions that are ideal for ASP delivery. As a result of this agreement, many more Microsoft Great Plains customers will be exposed to the benefits of a well designed professional services automation solution like ECS," said Dan Mallin, president at Imaginet, a Microsoft Great Plains and QuickArrow customer.
QuickArrow plans to continue to develop their partner relationship with Microsoft Great Plains as they add functionality to ECS. ECS users already have the ability to transfer data from ECS to Microsoft Great Plains Dynamics, Solomon, or eEnterprise through an integration point. "We are thrilled to be working with Microsoft Great Plains as an ASP Application Service Developer. There was already a symbiotic relationship between our companies. Both Microsoft Great Plains and QuickArrow develop products that automate key business operations and both companies are fully committed to the ASP model. This partnership is a logical extension of our existing relationship with Microsoft Great Plains, and our shared customer base," said Elizabeth Davis, vice president of QuickArrow.
