CITY OF INDUSTRY, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 2, 2001

Continuing its commitment to provide specialized solutions to meet the needs of the education and government markets, Premio Computer Inc. has introduced the Premio(R) Centella L133 Desktop System.

Designed with complete onboard integration of system components, the Centella L133 provides a low-cost solution for entry-level needs while offering capable performance including support of Intel(R) Pentium(R) III and Intel(R) Celeron(R) Processors (FC-PGA).

Ideal for business applications utilizing Microsoft(R) Office 2000, e-mail and Internet browsing, the Centella L133 incorporates the VIA(R) Apollo PLE133 chipset and provides two 168-pin DIMM sockets for expandability up to 1GB of PC 100/133 SDRAM memory. With onboard integration being the key to the price-driven system, the Centella L133 includes the Trident Blade 2D/3D video accelerator, Via AC97 16-bit business audio and Realtek 10/100 Mbps network adapter. Other onboard functions provided are I/O (floppy, serial and parallel port).

"In many cases, cost concerns supercede all other requirements," observed Samuel Sanchez, Premio Desktop, Server and Network Marketing Product Manager. "The Centella L133 fills that market niche by integrating all commonly required capabilities, without sacrificing quality."

The Centella L133 also features two IDE busmastering channels (ATA- 33/66/100) for support of up to four IDE/ATAPI drives, two rear USB ports, one serial/COM port, one parallel/LPT port, one Communication Network Riser slot and 145-watt power supply. All Centella systems are built-to-order, allowing complete customization for individual requirements.

Included with all Centella systems is Premio's customized PC Quick Fix software which allows for diagnosis of technical problems. This advanced software allows desktops to undergo a self-healing reconstruction process to recover deleted or damaged files and repair corrupted drivers. The software can also connect the user directly to a live Premio support analyst for a real-time chat session and diagnosis of problems on-line.

The standard Centella L133 system is priced at $649 with 15-inch monitor and includes a one-year warranty. Premio offers toll-free technical support and full documentation available online at www.premiopc.com.
