Penguin Computing Inc., the premiere provider of Internet infrastructure solutions, today announced the availability of the Relion 110, a 1U rackmount server. The new system provides up to two 1.0 GHz processors, 4 GB of RAM, and 150 GB of storage capacity. The Relion 110 also sports a 64-bit/66 Mhz PCI slot, enabling the addition of a gigabit ethernet card.
Equipped with dual processors and an IDE disk subsystem, the Relion 110 is a low-cost solution to drive such processor-intensive applications as web serving, clustered computing and dedicated security duties for ISPs and other e-businesses facing large volumes of network traffic.

Relion 110 servers begin shipping today. Like all Penguin Computing systems, Relion 110 servers are built-to-order, with a wide variety of options to tailor each system to individual needs. Default configuration starts at $2087.00

Penguin Computing offers a range of service and support options. The Relion 110 comes standard with a two-year limited warranty, including part replacement and 12-hour business day technical support. Additional options such as 24/7 phone support and on-site service may be purchased separately.
