UniSecurity and Siemens Announce Alliance for Biometric Solutions; Two Top Security Companies Team to Deliver Biometrics-Enhanced PKI Solutions for SAPR/3 Software

UniSecurity Inc., a rapidly emerging security solutions provider, has announced that Siemens through its Program and System Engineering (PSE) TechLab will become a strategic partner for biometrics technology in UniSecurity's SecuForce(TM) Value Net (SVN) partner program.

Under the terms of the agreement, Siemens ID Mouse(TM) will be UniSecurity Certified, to guarantee that the Siemens' input devices have been tested and work seamlessly with UniSecurity's SecuForce(TM) Security Suite. As part of the agreement, the two companies have formed a strategic alliance to collaborate on and jointly market products that combine biometrics and PKI technology to integrate smoothly with the SAP(R)R/3(R).
In addition, UniSecurity and Siemens have entered into a reseller agreement that will allow UniSecurity to bundle and resell the Siemens ID Mouse(TM) worldwide with their SecuForce(TM) Security Suite platform. The ID Mouse has been fully enabled on the SecuForce(TM) Security Suite platform. The Siemens ID Mouse(TM) is a Microsoft-certified, ergonomic mouse device with integrated biometric functionality. "The Siemens ID Mouse(TM) with UniSecurity's SecuForce(TM) Security Suite makes access to SAP systems convenient, secure and fast and brings a real value to all SAP users," said Gerald Schwartz, vice president and general manager of Siemens' PSE TechLab in San Jose, Calif.
