In this new role, Sandie will oversee the growth of IONA's strategic relationships with industry leaders such as Microsoft, Compaq, Intel, Sun Microsystems and Accenture, and the expansion of IONA's overall business development initiatives and market leadership position.

Sandie has held executive level positions in the software industry for the past 15 years. Most recently, Sandie served as Vice President of Global Alliances for webMethods where he built the business development and alliances team from the ground up and managed OEM relationships with SAP, i2, Oracle, Ariba, Commerce One, and Siebel Systems. Additionally he developed and managed System Integration partnerships with EDS, PWC, KPMG and others.
Prior to joining webMethods in 1999, Sandie served as Global Alliances Director at Veritas Software/Seagate Software for five years where he began and built the company's ISV Partner Program to over 150 partners. Sandie has also held numerous executive level alliance and business development positions at organizations including Macro 4 Inc., Knowledge Direct, Inc., and Sumitomo America.
