WHAT: California Attorney General William Lockyer will be the
keynote speaker at the California Cable Television Association's
(CCTA) Spring Legislative Meeting in Sacramento. He will address
the issues of how the State of California, working with Court TV
network and other project partners, can help reduce children's
exposure to violence and help curb aggression and other teenage
issues that lead to violence. Attorney General Lockyer has been
actively promoting the Safe From the Start project that deals
regionally around the State these with issues. In addition to
Court TV and cable operators ATT Broadband, Adelphia
Communications, Cox Communications and Comcast Cable, project
partners also include California Health and Human Services;
California's Children and Families Commission; and Cities,
Counties and Schools (CCS) Partnership.
