Systems Running On Intel IA64 Architecture to be Demonstrated
Mission Critical Linux's industry-leading Convolo Cluster solution, along with their Secure Service Technology (SST), will be highlighted at the RSA Conference to be held in San Francisco April 8 - 12, 2001. During the keynote address - Security for the New Millennium - given by Michael Fister, Intel's Vice-President and General Manager of the Enterprise Platforms Group, on April 10, 2001 at 2:00PM, Mission Critical Linux's innovative technology will be used to show how system managers can securely monitor and manage their mission-critical environments from remote locations.
On hardware platforms combining Intel IA32 and Itanium servers, the demonstration will showcase two industry leading technologies: the software and hardware components required to build a secure, Linux-based, high-availability Network File System (NFS) cluster configuration with complete data integrity; and the Secure Service Technology necessary to perform Internet-based system control and monitoring.
By combining RSA's encryption software with Mission Critical Linux's Secure Service Technology, attendees will see how the Convolo Cluster configuration can be securely monitored and controlled over the Internet without compromising the security of the enterprise's network infrastructure and without the need for modifications to the existing network security infrastructure.
The annual RSA Conference delivers keynote presentations from industry leaders and national policy makers. It also provides breakout sessions on topics ranging from cutting-edge cryptographic research to the most current implementations of enterprise security and secure electronic commerce.
