Rockwell Medical Technologies, Inc. Secures $1,000,000 in Equipment Lease Financing from GE Healthcare Financial Services

Rockwell Medical Technologies, Inc. (Nasdaq:RMTI), a leading, innovative hemodialysis concentrate manufacturer in the healthcare industry, announced today that it has signed a $1 million equipment lease financing agreement with GE Healthcare Financial Services.
The Company will fund capital spending for equipment in its new production facilities in Texas and Michigan with the proceeds from the lease financing agreement.
Under the terms of the agreement, dated August 15, 2001, the Company can acquire up to $1,000,000 in manufacturing equipment with payment terms over 60 months. The Company will expand production capacity of its Dri-Sate Dry Acid Concentrate product line in support of unit volume growth, which has increased by 44% in the first half of 2001 as compared to the first half of 2000.

This will provide us with the capability to fund our upgraded manufacturing operations and expansion.
