Newly Announced SilkTest International to be Demonstrated for the First Time; Key Executive to Speak on e-Business as an Agent of Change
Segue Software, Inc. (NASDAQ: SEGU), the e-business reliability expert, today announced that its new SilkTest International(TM) software -- enabling companies to verify the reliability of localized versions of their applications and assure performance -- will be demonstrated for the first time at the Fall 2001 Software Test Automation Conference and Expo on August 29 and 30 at the Hynes Convention Center in Boston.
In addition, Segue's Vice President of Strategic Alliances, Rohit Gupta, will address attendees on the topic of e-business, its challenges and the industry's push towards accelerating reliable deployment of software systems.
"This will be the first time we have taken SilkTest International public," said Basil Harris, Vice President of Product Marketing for Segue. "We are greatly anticipating the industry's response to this first look at SilkTest International. With this introduction, our global customers now have the ability to rapidly deploy their localized applications to their worldwide audience."
SilkTest International is a companion product to SilkTest, Segue's functional and regression-testing platform being used by hundreds of leading businesses around the world. It extends the product's functionality by giving users the ability to perform single-script, simultaneous testing of localized applications in multiple languages --whether they are single or multi-byte characters.
