Ptech Inc. Adds Newly-Created Chief Operating Officer, General Manager, Europe Positions; Adds Sales VP

CFO George Peterson Adds COO Role; Jeff Goins promoted to General
Manager, Europe; Blake Bisson Joins as Vice President of Sales
Ptech Inc., a leading provider of business process modeling software, announced it has expanded its management team by creating new positions of chief operating officer and general manager, Europe, and adding a seasoned sales vice president to its team. George Peterson, presently chief financial officer and vice president corporate development for Ptech, adds the role of chief operating officer to his duties, reporting to chief executive officer Oussama Ziade. Jeff Goins, formerly vice president of sales, assumes the General Manager, Europe post and will also report to CEO Ziade. Replacing Goins is newly appointed sales vice president Blake Bisson, reporting to COO Peterson. Ptech's expanded management team positions the company to continue its track record of strong growth and capitalize on market demand for enterprise architecture (EA) software and services.

George Peterson, COO and CFO
George Peterson has been instrumental in enhancing Ptech's internal management systems since March 2001 and in his expanded role as chief operating officer will focus on day-to-day operations as well as fiscal management and securing working capital. He has 30 years of high-tech, management experience in rapidly growing companies. Prior to Ptech, Mr. Peterson served as vice president of business development/CFO of InterSense where he raised financing and negotiated distribution agreements, doubling the company's market cap. Prior to that, he was CFO at InterSystems. Mr. Peterson also has been president and CEO of Sandia Imaging Systems; COO of Varitronic Systems; general manager, Electronic Publishing Systems of EDS; vice president, business development and marketing at BellSouth/Dataserv; and a member of the technical staff at Bell Labs. He holds an MBA and two engineering degrees from Cornell University.
Jeff Goins, General Manager, Europe
Jeff Goins has been a driving force behind Ptech's over ten-fold growth in revenue since he joined in 1997, and now will focus on creating a strong beachhead for Ptech in Europe. As Ptech's vice president of sales, Mr. Goins won many of Ptech's top-tier clients, gained greater presence in the Federal government market with a GSA schedule listing, and established alliances with leading methodologists. Prior to joining Ptech, Mr. Goins held the position of government account executive for GMIS from 1995 to 1997. Prior to that, Mr. Goins was a marketing manager with Computer Associates, and a member of the sales staff at EDS. He holds a B.S. degree in Finance from Virginia Commonwealth University.
Blake Bisson, Vice President of Sales
Blake Bisson joined Ptech with more than 20 years of computer industry sales and marketing experience. His experience in providing sales leadership in rapid growth situations is extensive. Prior to joining Ptech, Mr. Bisson held the position of vice president of sales at Concentric Visions, InterSense, ICE and Bull Information Systems. He ran the custom consulting organization at BIS/CAP International and held other senior marketing and sales positions at Computervision Corporation and Digital Equipment Corporation. He holds an MBA from Babson College and a BS from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
