"Mobile devices are becoming increasingly connected and now either hold or provide access to highly confidential personal and business information," said Steve Cullen, senior vice president of Symantec Consumer and Client Product Delivery. "These handhelds can be both a target of a virus infection as well as a conduit for viruses to spread to other devices and PCs. Symantec AntiVirus 2002 for Palm OS offers handheld users the most effective protection available against security threats such as viruses, Trojan horses and other malicious code."
Symantec AntiVirus 2002 for Palm OS scans for and detects viruses in Palm devices, providing real-time protection and on-demand scans to protect data on the handheld device even between synchronizations.
