Agreement Will Bring Reliable and Secure Portal and Messaging

Products to Nation's Lowest-Priced Major ISP

Synacor Inc., a provider of provisioning, portal, messaging and collaboration services, today announced an agreement to supply Kmart's $8.95 BlueLight Unlimited Internet Service with hosted portal and e-mail services. Through this agreement, BlueLight ISP customers will have access to a mybluelight-branded portal and Web-based e-mail hosted by Synacor.

Synacor Community Portal will provide BlueLight subscribers with a start page when launching the ISP. With Synacor's portal Content Publishing Tool, users will receive Kmart store promotions and sales information, as well as links to other store services such as pharmacy prescription refills and photo development services. BlueLight's Internet Service also will include Synacor Consumer E-mail -- a feature-rich e-mail solution. BlueLight ISP customers can access their e-mail from any device with a Web browser.

"As our $8.95 Internet Service continues to grow as the lowest-price ISP in the country, it is important that we offer our customers a reliable and secure portal and e-mail service," said Heidi Gibson, general manager of the BlueLight Unlimited Internet Service. "Synacor's track record in the industry and commitment to the highest-performance standards will help us ensure that our valued customers receive the best quality of service we can offer."

"We are pleased to offer our enhanced data services to one of the country's leading Internet Service Providers," says Ron Frankel, president and CEO of Synacor. "BlueLight's ISP is projecting rapid growth, and our network can provide the reliability and scalability its service will require."
