Cox Interactive Media Promotes Glenn McLaren to City Site Manager of San Antonio City Site sa360.com

SAN ANTONIO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 13, 2001
Cox Interactive Media (CIMedia) announced today that Glenn McLaren has been promoted to city site manager of its San Antonio, Texas, Web site, sa360.com.
The announcement came from Tim Williamson, regional general manager.
"Glenn has been a tremendous asset to our San Antonio team as our former content manager since 1999. His team-building and leadership skills, along with his excellent CIMedia track record, make him the ideal person to lead our efforts in San Antonio," said Williamson.
In his former position as content manager, McLaren developed the San Antonio city site's plan, and supervised all aspects of the initial site launch. Before that, he was news manager for the Sun-Sentinel Internet Edition, Fort Lauderdale, Fla., managing a nine-person staff in the daily preparation and updating of a newspaper Web site. He also served as online editor for Caller-Times Interactive, Corpus Christi, Texas. His traditional media experience spans positions as a sports copy editor for Caller-Times, sports editor of the Galveston County Daily News, managing editor of the Santa Fe Bulletin, assistant sports editor of the Baytown Sun and sports editor of the Sebastian Sun. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in sociology from Texas A&M University, Corpus Christi.
